About Ambee

Hi, I’m Ambee. I’m a St. Louis based photographer with over a decade of experience documenting people, connection, and the moments that often go unnoticed.

What’s always drawn me to photography isn’t just how something looks, but how it feels. The in-between moments, the quiet interactions, the energy between people. That’s what I pay attention to.

My approach is natural and intentional. I’ll guide when needed, but I’m also observing, allowing things to unfold in a way that feels real to you. I want you to feel comfortable enough to be yourself, because that’s where the best images come from.

Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of people and environments, which has shaped how I move during a session. I’m patient, intuitive, and able to read the moment without forcing it. That awareness comes from both my experience behind the camera and my background working closely with people.

Outside of photography, I enjoy traveling, finding good vegetarian food, collecting rocks, and spending time with my pets, Jet and Tyko. I tend to appreciate the quieter moments in life, which naturally carries into how I see and document things.

Photography is something I’ve grown with, and I’m continuing to evolve in how I tell stories, especially through more intentional and cinematic work.
